On Friday, the Saket Court approved a two-day extension of remand for businessman Samir K Modi, allowing the Delhi police to further investigate the allegations against him. The court instructed the police to look into the complaint lodged by Modi himself. The proceedings took place behind closed doors. Modi was apprehended at Indira Gandhi International Airport following a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued by the New Friends Colony Police Station, leading to his arrest on rape charges. The FIR was filed on September 10, 2025, after a woman reported that she had been in a relationship with Modi since 2019.
